I would consider myself a taco connoisseur. I have had the good, the bad, and the Taco Bell, and I don't just give out 5 stars on any old taco. That being said, omg these tacos are amazing. I probably love the fish tacos (Baja Ha) the best. There is something about the sauce that just makes my mouth water. Although the Squeal Blue Pig is a close second, I am a sucker for blue cheese. But if you are one of those timid taco eaters the KISS taco is right up your alley and at a reduced price... You know just like taco night at your Gramma's, ground beef, cheese, lettuce, and onions. I want tacos right now, in my mouth. BTW - Pal's is such a cool bar, it is so conducive for taco eating and drinking... They sometimes sell the Beergaritia which is the perfect companion for munching tacos.

Amazing tacos- the pork belly and the cod with slaw are too hard to choose and make one the favorite. Ever thought about combining two delicious things like Italian sausage and a perfectly crisp taco shell? I hadn't but I should have. This taco pop up is one of the best additions to our neighborhood. And totally affordable.

I continue to vouch for the deliciousness of these tacos in general. However, they started doing a dessert roti taco with thick banana slices in Nutella in some kind of brown shell thing. It doesn't look like much, so I didn't order it the first week. My mistake. I could eat like ten of them. It comes with honey drizzled on the outside and then sprinkled with sugar so it's crispy and sugary and honey-ish and chocolately with plenty of banana slices inside. I am sorry I tried it b/c now I will want one every day and they are only open on Tuesdays.

Eat Mah Taco is a new pop up out of Pal's Lounge - which is a DIVE bar in Mid-City. By DIVE, I mean, DIVE. But, it's such an awesome neighborhood bar, it was actually voted best neighborhood bar in the local New Orleans paper. Anywho, Eat Mah Taco is only on Tuesdays (let's hope they can come back on other days!) and each week there's a different menu. The first menu was fabulous - like gourmet tacos in a dive bar. You can choose between tacos or quesadilla and it's definitely worth your $$!! By the time I arrived, around 8, it seemed as though meat was low, so I would suggest getting there early - but I definitely think it was because it was the first week. I actually ate the vegetarian taco which had black beans, tomatoes, cheese, and I had it as a quesadilla - and it was HUGE and only $4!! I highly recommend!! I am going back next week. Not to mention - each week there is a different 2 for $2 special! Can't beat that - and it's totally worth it. Great stuff!

I used to think that Juan Two Three Go! would be the coolest name for a place that serves tacos, but I stand corrected. However, I wanted to leave a review even though I've only been once so far because this joint is so much more than an adorable pun on the female anatomy. My husband and I shared two different sets of tacos, the shrimp/pineapple one and the BBQ pulled pork with bleu cheese and cilantro slaw. Both were really distinctive, well-paired flavor combinations! My well-liquored-up taste buds were totally not expecting such a treat :-). It made me really happy to live in a place like New Orleans, where one can walk into an unpretentious (to put it mildly) bar and still find amazing and sophisticated food.

"Unbelievable" is the word I would use to describe the tacos. Original, tasty and fresh. The combination of flavors, the original sauces and tender meats lends to some of the best tacos I've ever had. Too bad they only serve them on Tuesdays. Well worth my trip from the Westbank.

It's ok....not real tacos...but tasty. And they deserve credit for doing something other places would never think of. But...when I went they were flour tortillas....sorry man, but that's like putting stewed tomatoes in gumbo....sure people like that who are not from Lousiana...but it's the same principal here for REAL tacos and ones that are tasty version of the real thing. don't mess with a sacred culinary staple. I know...it's the gringo'ed version of how to eat tacos...just like the yankee version of gumbo is to throw tons of tomatoes in like you making some kind of stew. See my point? If you've ever had REAL tacos at a stand in Mexico or Central America these are 2 stars in comparison. In fact these are not as good as the truck that comes by the former Home Depot on Carrolton. I give Pals three stars here because they are the only people trying this in a non-Latin themed setting. and they are tasty...but obviously people have never had the real thing. 5 stars really? lol
